Tata Power renewable business FY26 PAT jumps 59% to ₹1,994 crore

Tata Power reported a 59% year-on-year rise in PAT from its renewables business to ₹1,994 crore for FY2025-26, driven by solar manufacturing scale-up, rooftop solar growth and renewable capacity additions.

PAT from the renewables business stood at ₹406 crore in Q4 FY26.

The company said its renewable energy portfolio now stands at 11.6 GW, including projects under construction. During FY26, Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd commissioned 2.5 GW of renewable capacity, comprising 968 MW of in-house projects and 1,484 MW of third-party projects.

The company also crossed 10 GW of cumulative solar EPC execution during the year.

Tata Power’s solar manufacturing business recorded revenue of ₹6,968 crore and PAT of ₹857 crore during FY26. Production during the year stood at 3,825 MW of modules and 3,759 MW of cells.

The board of Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd approved an investment of around ₹6,500 crore for a 10 GW photovoltaic ingot and wafer manufacturing facility in two phases.

The company reported consolidated FY26 PAT of ₹5,118 crore, up 7% year-on-year, while EBITDA rose 11% to ₹16,090 crore.
