JSW Infrastructure Targets 400 MTPA Capacity By FY30, Plans ₹30,000 Crore Expansion

JSW Infrastructure has outlined an aggressive expansion roadmap targeting cargo handling capacity of 400 million tonnes per annum by FY2030, nearly doubling from the current 183 MTPA.

To achieve this, the company plans a capital expenditure of ₹30,000 crore for ports expansion and an additional ₹9,000 crore for strengthening its logistics business.

During FY2026, the company secured multiple infrastructure milestones, including successful public hearings for proposed greenfield ports at Keni in Karnataka and Murbe in Maharashtra. It also signed the concession agreement for the Kolkata Container Terminal Project with interim operations expected to commence shortly.

The company completed the JNPA Liquid Terminal project, expanded cargo handling capacity at Ennore Coal Terminal from 9.6 mtpa to 11 mtpa and acquired 25 rail rakes to strengthen its logistics network. An additional order for 40 rail rakes has also been placed.

JSW Infrastructure said the expansion strategy will build on the acquisition of Navkar Corporation to create a pan-India logistics network.

“The Company is targeting consolidated operating revenue of ₹6,850 crore and operating EBITDA of ₹3,000 crore for FY2027.”

The company expects EBITDA to grow nearly 15% in FY2027 and almost double by FY2028.
