Godrej Industries Group held its inaugural Assistive Tech Conference 2025 to highlight how assistive technologies can support accessibility at work. The event featured 12 start-ups and exhibitions by Access for All, NCPEDP and the AssisTech Foundation.
Godrej Properties launched ThisAbleMe Echo, an AI tool for sign language interpretation for internal use. Godrej IT, AI Lab and Good & Green showcased in-house accessibility innovations. GCPL and Atypical Advantage released an EmployAbility Toolkit for companies beginning disability inclusion efforts.
A manufacturing-focused summit highlighted inclusive factory practices, while GCPL said it has hired over 20 persons with disabilities across its plants. A concluding panel discussed future accessibility needs and called for wider adoption of assistive tech.
Godrej Industries Group said it aims to support the creation of more accessible and inclusive workplaces across India.
