BVG India develops eco-friendly resort at Chandan Chowki near Dudhwa National Park

BVG India, in partnership with the Uttar Pradesh Eco Tourism Development Board (UPETDB), is developing a new eco-tourism destination near Dudhwa National Park at Chandan Chowki in Lakhimpur Kheri district.

The centrepiece of the project is the ‘BVG India Resort’, spread across five acres and scheduled to be fully operational by March 2026. The resort is envisioned as a nature-led retreat focused on wellness, wildlife and local cultural experiences.

Designed with a low-impact and environmentally sensitive approach, the resort blends into its forest surroundings while offering accommodation, recreational facilities, food and beverage services and spaces for small conferences and gatherings.

Under the partnership, BVG India is responsible for planning, design, development, financing, operations, compliance and marketing of the accommodation and wellness centre. The project aims to offer tourists a holistic experience combining wellness and wildlife.

Commenting on the development, Mr. Hanmantrao Gaikwad, Chairman, BVG India said, “BVG India Resort is an expression of our belief that tourism must respect nature and create opportunities for local communities. Through this project near Dudhwa, we have sought to create a destination that allows visitors to experience the region’s natural beauty and cultural richness, while preserving what makes it unique. This is a long-term commitment to responsible and sustainable tourism in Uttar Pradesh.”
