BVG India Collaborates With Israeli Deep-Tech Firm Senecio Robotics on Mosquito Control Initiative

BVG India Limited has partnered with Senecio Robotics to introduce AI-driven, non-GMO mosquito control technology in India, using the Sterile Insect Technique recognised within international public-health frameworks.

The MoU was signed with support from the Israeli Embassy in India, marking another step in India–Israel cooperation on innovation and sustainability. The approach is aligned with guidance from the World Health Organization for the safe planning and evaluation of SIT for mosquito control.

Senecio Robotics’ AI- and robotics-based systems automate mosquito production at scale, while BVG contributes extensive nationwide execution capabilities across public-health and infrastructure programmes.

“Our AI and robotics platform was developed to transform a proven biological method into a reliable, scalable public-health solution,” said Hanan Lepek, Founder and CEO of Senecio Robotics. “Partnering with BVG allows us to localize production and deliver a solution that protects human health while respecting the environment.”
