Mpower’s five-year consolidated data reveals a steep rise in mental health challenges among Indian men. The organisation engaged 2.83 lakh men, with youth programmes reaching 2.07 lakh young men aged 18–25.
The 24×7 helpline recorded 75,702 male callers, many seeking help for stress, depression and relationship issues. Forty per cent reported reduced stress after the call.
High engagement came from Pune (1,13,435) and Mumbai (53,657), with other metro clusters adding another 40,000+ beneficiaries.
Key concerns include stress, burnout, anxiety, loneliness and academic pressure.
