Aditya Birla Capital Limited (ABCL) reported strong growth across its life and health insurance businesses during FY26.
The company said life insurance individual first-year premium grew 15 per cent year-on-year to ₹4,725 crore, while renewal premium increased 17 per cent to ₹12,190 crore.
Group new business premium rose 31 per cent year-on-year to ₹7,314 crore during FY26.
ABCL said the net value of new business (VNB) margin improved by 260 basis points year-on-year to 20.6 per cent, while absolute net VNB grew 29 per cent to ₹1,055 crore.
In the health insurance business, gross written premium increased 39 per cent year-on-year to ₹6,855 crore. The company’s standalone health insurer market share improved by 110 basis points to 13.7 per cent.
The company posted consolidated profit after tax of ₹3,797 crore for FY26, up 21 per cent year-on-year.
