Air India has elevated its inflight dining experience with a newly refreshed global menu that blends India’s culinary heritage with modern international favourites. Introduced across most international ex-India routes, the menu spans Awadhi classics, South Indian tiffin-style dishes, Pan-Asian staples and European-inspired creations.
Travellers in First and Business Class will be served gourmet courses, artisanal breads and sommelier-designed wine pairings. Premium Economy and Economy passengers will enjoy visually enhanced trays focusing on comfort, balance and regional authenticity.
Among the highlights are Awadhi Paneer Anjeer Pasanda, Murgh Massalam, citrus tiger prawns, Japanese Teppanyaki bowls, Mediterranean tapas, chicken bibimbap, matcha delice and homestyle khichdi. The airline has also introduced a full vegan and allergen-sensitive menu alongside 18 special meal options.
The menu has been developed by Chef Sandeep Kalra as part of Air India’s transformation, which also includes new aircraft and cabin upgrades. Sustainability has been built into the offering through local sourcing, compostable packaging and reduced single-use plastics.
Chief Customer Experience Officer Rajesh Dogra said the revamped menu reflects Air India’s ambition to offer a world-class experience rooted in Indian hospitality.
