CDSL IPF Expands Investor Education Outreach with 12-Language Comic Series

Strengthening investor awareness through storytelling, the CDSL Investor Protection Fund (CDSL IPF) unveiled an investor education comic series in partnership with Amar Chitra Katha.

The series was launched by Shri Tuhin Kanta Pandey, Chairman, Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), at CDSL’s 3rd Annual Symposium, Reimagine: Securities Market through Data Synergy.

On launch of the series, Shri Tuhin Kanta Pandey, Chairman, Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), said, “Investor awareness is fundamental to building inclusive and transparent securities markets. I commend the depositories for their efforts in the areas of investor education and awareness. Initiatives like the launch of a comic book series will go a long way in spreading investor awareness. Campaigns such as ‘Slam the Scam’ and ‘AtmanirbHER’ have helped empower individuals to participate with greater confidence.”
