Aditya Birla Health Insurance has rolled out Activ Yuva, a new health insurance plan focused on preventive healthcare and wellness for younger consumers.
The company said the plan seeks to address evolving consumer behaviour where health management increasingly extends beyond hospitalisation and claims.
Activ Yuva expands the insurer’s HealthReturns™ proposition by rewarding customers for healthy habits linked to fitness, nutrition and recovery. Under the programme, users can earn monthly reward boosts by logging meals, achieving activity goals and maintaining healthy sleep cycles.
Customers walking over 7,500 steps monthly on average or burning 250 calories can earn Bonus Active Dayz™, while those maintaining sleep schedules of seven to eight hours for 21 days can receive up to a 15% boost in monthly HealthReturns™.

He added that insurance growth would increasingly depend on remaining relevant to customers between claims rather than only during medical emergencies.
The company said the plan also includes OPD and income protection benefits to broaden everyday engagement with policyholders.
