Counterfeit ‘JOY’ Skin Care Items Seized in Sadar Bazar and Dilshad Garden

In a coordinated enforcement action ordered by the Delhi High Court, allegedly counterfeit JOY-branded skin care products were seized during raids conducted at three locations across Delhi.

The court-appointed Local Commissioners executed the raids at two premises in Sadar Bazar and one in Dilshad Garden, following an ex-parte order in a trademark and copyright infringement suit filed by Joy Creators LLP. Authorities recovered cosmetic products, packaging and promotional materials that were found to closely imitate the trade dress and appearance of JOY personal care products.

The seized goods were documented through detailed inventories and photographic evidence. Despite resistance at certain locations, the goods were seized and sealed as per legal procedure. The matter has been listed for further proceedings before the Delhi High Court.

Sunil Agarwal, Co-founder & Chairman, Joy Personal Care (RSH Global), said,
“Counterfeit products violate intellectual property rights and pose serious risks to consumer safety and trust. At JOY, honesty, trust, and consumer well-being are non-negotiable, and we take the responsibility seriously that Indian households have placed in us over decades. Strict enforcement and timely legal action are essential to protect consumers and preserve brand integrity. We appreciate the decisive action taken pursuant to the Hon’ble Delhi High Court’s directions, and we will continue to support the authorities wherever required to prevent such incidents.
