India Among Top Global Markets for Mercedes-Benz GLE, GLS as Night Editions Debut

Mercedes-Benz India has launched the GLE and GLS ‘Night Edition’ in India, introducing specially configured limited-edition luxury SUVs featuring bespoke design elements and exclusive interior upgrades.

Mercedes-Benz India said the country has emerged as one of the brand’s top global markets for the GLE and GLS luxury SUVs, reinforcing the success of the two models in the Indian market.

The Night Edition SUVs receive a blacked-out styling package and are offered in two exterior shades — Alpine Grey and Obsidian Black. Alpine Grey is exclusive to the Night Edition range.

Inside the cabin, the Night Edition SUVs feature black Nappa leather upholstery and Anthracite open-pore oak wooden trim, which are not available in the standard variants. Both SUVs also come equipped with a Head-Up Display, while the GLE Night Edition additionally receives AIRMATIC suspension.

The company stated that the GLE and GLS Night Editions are part of a global limited series and will be available in restricted volumes in India.

The GLS 450 Night Edition is priced at Rs. 1.41 crore and the GLS 450d Night Edition at Rs. 1.43 crore. The GLE 300d Night Edition is priced at Rs. 1.05 crore, while the GLE 450 Night Edition costs Rs. 1.14 crore (ex-showroom all-India).
