Tata Power’s smart home automation brand EZ Home has won the Home Automation category at the AI/ML National Conference organised by the Ministry of Power in New Delhi.
The initiative was launched to recognise AI/ML innovations in India’s power distribution sector. From 195 applications received, 51 solutions were shortlisted. EZ Home emerged as the sole winner, ahead of companies including Genus, Schneider Electric, Blaze and Adani.
EZ Home integrates home automation with smart meters using AI/ML analytics, helping users improve energy efficiency and optimise consumption. The system offers appliance-level monitoring and automation via a mobile app and voice assistants.
The jury, comprising members from NPTI, Google India, Microsoft India, Meta India and SARVAM, evaluated solutions based on scalability, innovation and consumer accessibility.
Tata Power also received recognition in the AMISP category, marking another milestone in its technology-led energy journey.
